Hot Spot Miniature Horse Stud is situated in the beautiful valley of Willowvale, in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

We began with one Christmas present, a bay pinto called Petite Equine Lucinda. Have experience in larger horses, we knew what a good conformation was... BUT we had no idea that little Lucinda had a famous dad - LaYaqwam Hobo!

Since then the addiction began. We purchased a few mares, one in particular called Mini World Ada who was in foal to a chesnut and white pinto. The owner was unsure on selling Ada, as she was a strong colour producing mare - a black frost palouse. Would Ada produce the long awaited Pintaloosa???

We got her home and low and behold- a black and white perfectly marked pintaloosa was born. He looked like two seperate horses stuck together!

Today Hot Spot Jack is our Stallion. He has won numerous colour and performance awards, and is a gentleman to boot!!
